When I got a new to me car in March， I was over the moon. Car of my dreams! Little did I know that just a few weeks later I would be sideswiped in my parking spot while I was at home, working away, by a truck in a hit-and-run that left me with $7,200 in damages and took out both driver’s side doors. My poor car! I was beyond upset.I hadn’t even had the car long enough to memorize which side the fuel port was on, much less get the necessary equipment I wanted for it. Finally, after a ridiculously lengthy insurance process the car was repaired and now I’ve got my dashcam after doing a couple weeks of research.This little cam worked right out of the box. I tested it a bit at home and installed it in my Subaru today. I’m still considering if I want to hardwire it. It worked very well as far as I could see. The mounting process was fast and easy once I figured out where I wanted to put it.The equipment feels nice and solid and the camera came packed with extra mounting materials. Shoots very good quality video. I live in NYC, so it’s going to be hot here, and even hotter in the car when parked, so imagine how hot this little camera is. But still tenacious work, just install the dash cam in your car and forget about it as it will automatically overwrite the old video you don’t want with the newly recorded video. Installation is a breeze, setup is a breeze, the power cable is definitely long enough to connect to your center console, and the camera offers many configuration options including exposure, recording time period, time zone, screensaver, and more.

This is a great option if you want a budget-friendly, reliable and well-made camera with good video quality. The image quality is much better than those junk models out there that can’t even read the license plate of the car in front of you. It got me through a month without any issues. The mount also makes it easy to remove the camera, so if you know you’ll be parked in the sun all day, it’s not too hard to remove the unit and put it in the glove box. Very satisfied with this camera, will buy again.
